You’re an A**hole!!!
Probably not something you want to hear someone tell you but according to Steven B. Green, Dennis LaValle, and Chris Illuminati, authors of “a** hole ol o gy,” it is a compliment.
“Asshole (n.): A person who gets what he wants when he wants without acting like a douche bag.”
So according to their definition, being an asshole is something we should aspire to be. They are the ones who get the promotions, get the girls, and basically get whatever they want. Sure they may piss some people off in the process but people still want to be around them and hang off of every word that comes out of their asshole mouths.
When I first read the title of this book I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew I was in for an interesting study in the science of a**holeology. And after reading this piece of literary candy, I must say I was motivated to make a few changes towards being an asshole. The book shows you the difference between assholes and douche bags and how not to be the latter.
It also takes us through a history of the asshole, how to identify assholes around you, and how to be an asshole in everyday situations. This is a very well written and easy to read book that will keep you laughing and taking notes along the way.
“Here are 3 essential things every asshole must have: thick skin…the ability to say no to anyone…and confidence coming out of your ass.” So, identify what kind of asshole you are, follow the ten asshole demandments, and beat the system.
Want to know possible proof that the advice works in this book? Kellan Lutz, star of the Twilight Saga, one of Hollywood’s “IT” boys of the moment was spotted very recently catching up on a bit of reading.
