Is the Pirate’s life for you?

Hey landlubber! If the pirate’s life of pillaging villages and being at sea for extended periods of time then this job might be for you!

Our friends over at OLV have posted an ad for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 which is holding two casting calls in Oahu and Kauai Hawaii!

Here are the details:

Right now, they are looking for MEN who can play pirates, sailors and stand-ins for the movie’s lead actors.

For the pirates, the production is looking for authentic-looking scavenger-types 18-60s, all ethnicities, especially extreme character types: thin, tall, short, emaciated, odd features, huge nose, eyes, ears, lazy eye, grizzled and wrinkles faces, odd body types, missing limbs, teeth, etc.

Sailors must be thin and average build, good looking to extreme characters, British types, Spaniards, and other ethnicities, ages 18- into their 50s.

For cast member photo-doubles and stand ins only men as well…

* The Oahu casting call is on Saturday, April 24 at 9, 10 and 11 a,m. and 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. at the Waikiki Community Center, 310 Paoakalani Ave., Honolulu, HI 96815

* Kauai casting is Sunday, April 25 at 10 and 11 a.m.; noon, and 2, 3, and 4 p.m. at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall, 4191 Hardy Street, Lihue, HI 96766…

Choose any audition time listed and don’t be late. Show up at mid day audition times to avoid long line. There is no experience necessary.

Bring a 3×5 current color photo. The photos does not need to be professional. No wigs, makeup, or glasses in photos and please shoot from the waist up and bring a pen or pencil.

You do not need to prepare for the audition. The casting director will simply take a look at you, have you fill out a registration card, attach your photo and that’s it.

The production is only accepting submissions from men at this time and you must be 18 years or older and be legal to work in the United States.

If you live on Oahu or Kauai and will miss the open call you may still be considered for the film. Just mail in the current color 3×5 photo and include your height, weigh, shirt, coat and pants sizes, phone number, and Email address.
