If you are from South Florida and a fan of books, there is no doubt in my mind that you have at least heard about Books & Books. The Coral Gables staple, which is spreading almost like wild fire, is hosting a special event with Frances Mayes.
The author of four books about Tuscany including the New York Times bestseller Under the Tuscan Sun will be featured at a very special event being held at the Tropical Fairchild Gardens on Thursday, April 1st at 6:30pm.
She will be promoting her latest book entitled, Every Day in Tuscany: Seasons of an Italian Life
I attended one of her readings at the Gables location of Books & Books when she was promoting Bringing Tuscany Home: Sensuous Style From the Heart of Italy
What makes this event even more special is that you get to spend the day at the breathtaking gardens where you will receive a Tram Tour before the reception with Ms. Mayes followed by a question and answer session.
