Dania Ramirez is headed for HBO

Big congrats goes out to our girl Dania Ramirez who just landed a recurring role on the HBO hit Entourage! With Jamie Lynn Sigler out of the picture this season it looks like a new relationship will bloom for Turtle.

Dania is set to play the love interest of Jerry Ferrara’s character.

Here is what she tweeted.

I start work on Entourage soon… Love the show.. Very excited to step into such a fun role.. No more details, you’ll just have to watch ;)

I’m glad she is getting a chance to show off her acting skills on another hit show.

Entourage returns this Summer.

Of Serendipity and Twitter

Conan O’Brien – or more so one of his tweets– has inadvertently put the Children’s Hunger Fund into the limelight.

A tweet of his stating that he’d only be able to acquire one follower – a 19 year-old Sarah Killen from Michigan, chosen at random, set the fortuitous events in motion.

Killen was offered a design for her own custom wedding gown by one of the organization’s donors when she announced that she is getting married in September but without the money for a wedding.

The only request the donor, Kelima K., made in return? Having Killen promote the Children’s Hunger Fund!

That’s fortunate, no?

America Ferrera premieres Our Family Wedding

America Ferrera has come along way since, Real Women Have Curves! The twenty five year old walked the red carpet at the premiere of “Our Family Wedding” at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 theater on March 9, 2010 in New York City.

I can’t compliment her outfit enough. She rocked this vintage gold and black Angelo Tarlazzi dress with a sweetheart neckline, black pumps, and some chunky, chonga gold earrings.

In her new movie, America plays Lucia, a Mexican American woman who becomes engaged to her African American boyfriend Marcus played by Lance Gross. In the weeks leading up to a young couple’s wedding is comic and stressful, especially as their respective fathers (Forest Whitaker and Carlos Mencia) try to lay to rest their feud.

True Blood star Nelsan Ellis is ready for home run!

Nelsan Ellis, better known for his flamboyant character Lafayette on the HBO vampire drama True Blood has just signed up to participate in this years Vampire Baseball™ Exhibition Game!!

He is joining some of the Twilight Saga’s hunkiest guys including Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Daniel Cudmore, Alexander Mendeluk, and Gavin Bristol. Also participating is New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Champ Kyle Eckel.

I know so many of you are fans of Twilight but truth be told, I’d be the most excited to meet Nelsan! I’ve made no lie about being a huge fan of Lafayette and all his antics on TB.

Gerard Butler is promoting pretty!

So many people mentioned how thin Gerard Butler looked on the red carpet at the Academy Awards on Sunday but at the moment I just could not tell. In these new photos its so obvious that he has definitely shed a bit of weight! I think all the comments about his body while he vacationed in Mexico with Jennifer Aniston must have motivated him.

Chloe Sevigny is ready for baby

Big Love star Chloe Sevigny looked playful and carefree during a game between the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on March 8, 2010 in New York City.

Speaking of the HBO hit drama, how surprising was that season finale?! I have been a faithful fan of this show and each season the writing just gets better and better. From beginning to end I don’t think there was one episode that disappointed.

I am still in denial though about the Hendrickson’s really coming out to the world. When the show returns I wonder if it will have all been just a dream sequence? Did you see Barb ad Margene’s faces when Bill outed them as polygamists?

So many questions and no ideas as to when we will see season 5!

Jamie Oliver: Flower Power

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver looked dapper in a three piece suit as he left his London home with a box of buttonhole flowers this morning.

Jamie and his wife Jools, who married in 2000, announced on March 5th that they are expecting their fourth child! The new baby, due in September, will join their three daughters, eight year old Poppy Honey Rosie, seven year old Daisy Boo Pamela, and eleven month old Petal Blossom Rainbow.
