Kate Winslet is starting off the week with some quality with her son Joe Mendes in New York City. The Academy Award winning actress carried her six year old son to an awaiting car which took the mother/son duo to a local movie theater.
Kate and Joe’s dad Sam Mendes recently split after nearly seven years of marriage. The couple has since put their triplex in Manhattan’s posh Chelsea neighborhood for sale with an asking price of $6 million dollars.
Normally Winslet lives in England but has been staying in the Big Apple while shooting a mini series for HBO about a woman who ditches a useless husband and re-builds her life.
