It’s just another day at work, in the glamorous world of Angelina Jolie. She was standing pretty at the helm of a boat posing and waving at photographers while shooting scenes for her new movie, The Tourist in Venice, Italy on Friday, April 9th.
The actress just returned from a surprise visit to refugees in Bosnia with her partner Brad Pitt. She released a statement about how inspired she is by the people she has met.
Jolie said in an official statement: “[I am] so inspired by these families. Despite the grim realities of their unsettled existence, they have an incredible determination to make a better future for their children.
“I hope we can find solutions for the remaining tens of thousands of displaced people… only then can we really close one of the most tragic chapters in modern history.“[I hope] to return to this beautiful country soon and meet with political representatives to further discuss the solutions that are so badly required.”

Angelina continues to amaze, although the trip to Bosnia did find it’s way to the popular press this was not the intent. With the eye’s of the world on this talented couple and their adorable offspring, it would be hard to avoid someone leaking their trip to the press.
The people of Bosnia have welcomed the light Angelina has shone on their plight, survivors of genocide whose lives are scarred and torn with remants of normality in their struggle against poverty and ongoing political uncertainty. Thankyou Angelina, you do so much and have the grace to rise above the lynch mob mentality whose vitriole is obviously fuelled by envy.
