Sandra Bullock marches to her own drum

The latest issue of Success Magazine shed a little bit of light on award winning actress, Sandra Bullock.

Sandra disclosed that growing up up she was always one that went against the grain. Her and her family, composed of her German opera singer mom and vocal coach dad, would travel between the U.S and Germany frequently.

Having to deal with a lisp and the harsh words from classmates in regards to her attire, fitting in was definitely exceptionally hard for her.

Though with the help of her mom, she managed to accept her differences and who she is.

“Uniqueness is something my mother pounded into me,” Bullock stated in the article. “I’ve made peace with the fact that the things I thought were weaknesses or flaws were just me.”

The 45 year old also spoke about her need to pass on the encouraging message to kids; “Don’t change. Be who you are.”

Due in part to her childhood experiences, Sandra grew up to be a strong and exemplary woman. Both of which have come in handy during recent events in her life.

She became such an important part of the lives of her stop children Jesse Jr., 12, Sunny, 6, and Chandler age 15 and there is no doubt she has surrounded them with the positivity she received while growing up.
