Keanu Reeves and I keep being in the same city at the same time yet I can’t seem to meet him! I even attended the Long Beach Celebrity Race last week while he was there and I still managed to miss him.
In my defense though, the area where they hold that street race is ginormous and by the time I found the area where the celebrities were hanging out Keanu was nowhere in sight.
But I digress.
The star of the upcoming comedy entitled, Henry’s Crime was seen looking comfy as he made his way through security at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, April 25th.

I am sorry you did not get to meet him Rosy while you were here for the Grand Prix. I must say I was truly taken- a-back at how well read he is. If you ever get the chance, ask him what he is currently reading and what he has finished reading. You will never look at him the same way ever again. This impressed me, and I am not one who is easily impressed by the Hollywood crowd. Mr Reeves is a prolific reader.
Why does he always look so dirty? Did his mother never teach him personal cleanliness? Who is the old goat babysitter he is with at airports. His lover or benefactor? Keanu is a life greatly wasted in more ways than one.

Jackie – I’m curious, what was he reading when you met him? Did you ask him about his favourite books/authors?
He likes the classics, Fitzgerald. The man understands Friedrich Nietzsche! I was blown away to say the least. He has read John Updikes Rabbit series (tough to ge through) Davud Mitchell, Proust, Michael Houellebecq (french writer).
I returned to school after a work injury, so all I do is read. A lot of the prof expect you to read the EXTRA books on their lists. For me it has been a while since I read some of the books. Re-reading was sometimes a chore.
Then it all made since to me. He is left handed, plays bass with his right hand. Definitely using both sides of his noggin. Then I remembered my hospitals days, most dyslexics are above average in intellegence, they just learn differently. Once they are properly diagnosed.
I must say in High school my teacher turned me onto Stephen King. I have been hooked every since. All us girls did was pass books around. Who is your favorite?

Jackie – thank you for your answer! I’m from Poland but I love American literature. I really enjoyed reading books by Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, Edgar Allan Poe, Francis Scott Fitzgerald and many more.
