Russell Crowe honored with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Here is one more sight I will want to get photographed with when I visit Los Angeles later this week!

Russell Crowe received the 2,404th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in California this afternoon. The Academy Award winner attended the ceremony with his wife Danielle and their two boys Charlie, 6, and Tennyson, 3.

“It is really nice,” Crowe told AAP.

“They’re old enough now to understand that something special is going on.”

Sex and the City 2 premieres new poster!

As the date of Sex and the City 2 movie draws closer, we are being gifted with so many wonderful promotional items! Last week we finally got a look at the second trailer which confirmed many more plot points including the return of Carrie’s ex Aiden (John Corbett) back into her life via a chance meeting in Abu Dhabi and Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson) all dressed in white as he prepares to marry.

Our latest treat is the new posted showing a glamorous Carrie Bradshaw on the sands of Abu Dhabi. Am I the only one wishing for a poster with all the girls? While I know Carrie is the main focus, her friendships with Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte are the point of the story!

Coco is going to TBS

After the dust has settled, it looks like comedian Conan O’Brien is headed for TBS! He will host a late-night talk show that is expected to debut in November. The Emmy®-winning comedian’s new program will be followed by Lopez Tonight, which will shift to a midnight time slot.

George Lopez called up Conan himself to encourage him to seal the deal!

“I can’t think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in,” Lopez said. “It’s the beginning of a new era in late-night comedy.”

O’Brien’s move to the cable network is solidifying their presence in late night television.

“For decades, late-night TV has been dominated by broadcast television,” said Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks. “Now, with a young audience and a growing late-night lineup, TBS is set to be the choice of comedy fans for years to come.”

His hour-long, yet-to-be-titled show Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. (ET/PT).

Gerard Butler teams up with Artists for Peace and Justice in Haiti

Some of Hollywood’s biggest names teamed up with the organization Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) to visit Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on Sunday, April 11th. The includes director and APJ founder Paul Haggis, Gerard Butler, Susan Sarandon, Demi Moore, Olivia Wilde, and Ben Stiller.

Stiller recently announced the merger between his Haitian school initiative with APJ to maximize his efforts in the impoverished island nation.

Artists for Peace and Justice encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty and enfranchisement in communities around the world. The organizations immediate goal is to build schools to serve the poorest areas of Haiti, [Read more...]

Jennifer Hudson travels light

Jennifer Hudson prepared for departure from Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, April 11th. As a longtime fan of the multiple award winning actress I have to say how much I look up to her for all that she has accomplished these past few years.

Hugh Jackman makes a quicky departure

Australian hunk Hugh Jackman and his lucky wife Deborra-Lee Furness prepared to depart from Los Angeles International Airport together on Sunday, April 11th. The duo dressed in super casual ar for what will probably be a cross country flight back to their home in New York City.

Hugh and Deborra-Lee have been happily married for over ten years and are parents to two children, Oscar and Ava. What is their secret?

“The romance is always hot and alive,” Jackman said with a wink last week when they attended the premiere of Date Night.

Gerard Butler tours Paris with Laurie Cholewa

I know its going to disappoint many of you to see these pictures of Gerard Butler out with French television journalist Laurie Cholewa, but the two did spend some quality time together whilst in Paris. The pictures show the duo at they strolled through the City of Lights including a visit to the Louvre on March 31st.
