Edward Burns brings you Nice Guy Johnny

For actor/writer/director Edward Burns, now is the time to celebrate! His new movie, Nice Guy Johnny is about to hit the Tribeca Film Festival held in New York City but the yearly festival is due for an expansion.

Starting April 23rd, you can join the lucky folks who get to attend in person and watch great films from the comfort of your own home. TFF Virtual Premium Passholders can watch TFF 2010 short and feature films like the world premiere of Edward Burns’ new film, Nice Guy Johnny. Get behind the scenes access to live red carpets, panels, and participate in Q&As with filmmakers from the comfort of your own living room.

The film follows Johnny Rizzo (Matt Bush), a guy who is about to trade in his dream job in talk radio for some snooze-ville gig that’ll pay just enough to please his fiancée. Enter Uncle Terry (Edward Burns), a rascally womanizer set on turning a weekend in the Hamptons into an eye-opening fling for his nephew.

Nice guy Johnny’s not interested, of course, but then he meets the lovely Brooke, who challenges Johnny to make the toughest decision of is life.

We had a chance to speak to Mr. Burns this week about this new indie comedy which he wrote and directed.

Ginnifer Goodwin gets back her long locks

Has Ginnifer really grown her hair back or has the magical weave fairy paid her a visit? The Big Love actress was photographed while doing a screen test for her new movie “Something Borrowed” in New York City on Thursday, April 22nd.

Earlier today her co-star Kate Hudson was also seen on the same set looking a little fuller.

Kate Hudson shows off growing belly

With a rounder belly and noticeably bigger boobs, is Kate Hudson showing signs of a new pregnancy? Why yes she is!! Though it is a fictitious one for her new movie, Something Borrowed.

Alex O’Loughlin premieres the Back-Up Plan

Is it just me or do we not get to see enough of Alex O’Loughlin? I’m so glad to see him as the leading man in this romantic comedy, even if it does co-star Jennifer Lopez.

Alex was joined by Lopez, Gilles Marini, Heidi Klum, Edyta Silwinska and Jake Pavelka at The Back-up Plan Premiere held at The Regency Village Theatre in Hollywood, California on April 21st, 2010.

The girls of Jersey Shore hit the Miami shore!

It looks like the girls of Jersey Shore have finally found a friendly spot on South Beach! The cast has been rejected from nearly every South Beach hot spot but with the beaches being public they can feel at home to relax and get an all over tan.

A newly single Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was joined by her buddies Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick in their hottest summertime gear including a sexy hot pink and black number.

How to Make it in America scores second season

America’s favorite hustlers are coming back for another action packed season! Bryan Greenberg, Victor Rasuk, and Luis Guzman’s HBO dramedy How to Make it in America is coming back for a second season according to Deadline.

I’m so glad we are gonna be getting more of the hijinx and hilarity we came to love in this freshman hit. Plus the eleven episodes we got to begin with were definitely not enough. I kinda felt like i was left hanging after the season finale.

The renewal comes on the heels of HBO’s early pickup of fellow freshman Treme.

Jon Bon Jovi hits the sand for a workout

It was another sun filled, fun filled day for Bon Jovi front man!

Jon is taking the time between his tour dates to maintain his rock gawd body. He was photographed while running on South Beach on Tuesday, April 20th. The funny part is, you can see him in a few of the snaps playing air guitar during the jog!

I guess practice is never ending!
