While we may have lost our beloved show Heroes, the cast is starting to make big moves! It was confirmed this morning that Greg Grunberg, who played mind reading Matt Parkman, has scored a spot on the new NBC show Love Bites.
He starred in the pilot and has now been upgraded to the role of series regular since the cancellation of Heroes became official on Friday.
In the pilot, Grunny plays an average Joe who lucks into a chance to have sex with his celeb crush, guest star Jennifer Love Hewitt. (She plays herself!) He will co-star with Ugly Betty star Becki Newton and Sex and the City star Jason Lewis.
NBC entertainment chief Angela Bromstad and Love creator Cindy Chupack were so impressed, they’ve done a deal with Grunberg to be one of at least two actors who will somehow appear in each week’s episode of the show, according to Vulture.
I’m so stoked to hear we will get a weekly does of Grunny come fall. Let’s just hope this show doesn’t get canceled!
