Greg Grunberg scores role in new NBC show

While we may have lost our beloved show Heroes, the cast is starting to make big moves! It was confirmed this morning that Greg Grunberg, who played mind reading Matt Parkman, has scored a spot on the new NBC show Love Bites.

He starred in the pilot and has now been upgraded to the role of series regular since the cancellation of Heroes became official on Friday.

Javier Bardem is Biutiful

Super sexy Spanish gawd Javier Bardem attended the photo call for his new film, “Biutiful” at the Palais des Festivals during the 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival on Monday, May 17th, 2010 in Cannes, France. He was joined by the films director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and his co-stars Eduard Fernadez, Diaryatou Daff, and Maricel Alvarez.

Russell Brand and Johan Hill promote in London

Russell Brand, Jonah Hill, and Terri Seymour visited the famous Abbey Road studios to attend the “Get Him to the Greek” press junket in London, England on Sunday, May 16th. The trio then heading off for a special tour around London on a red double decker bus.

Brand also made a solo appearance at the wedding of his good friend David Walliams this afternoon. The Little Britain star tied the knot with his supermodel girlfriend Lara Stone in front of their nearest and dearest.

Shrek Forever After brings out Matt Bomer

After some busy weeks shooting his hit show White Collar in New York City, Matt Bomer has returned to his home in Los Angeles. He made an appearance at the “Shrek Forever After” Los Angeles premiere held at Gibson Amphitheater Sunday, May 16th, 2010 in Universal City, California.

Due to his extremely busy schedule on the USA hit, our baby Bomer had to pull out of the upcoming Anna Faris comedy, What’s Your Number? He is to be replaced by Brothers & Sisters star Dave Annable.

Annable will now play Faris’ dream guy in the film, about a woman (Faris), who upon sleeping with her 20th guy, realizes that it’s too many and she must have missed her Mr. Right along the way.

Heroes stars say goodbye

It is with a heavy heart that Heroes fans must big farewell to their beloved show after four seasons. NBC confirmed cancellation of the show on Friday.

Many of us have come to love not just the show, but all of the actors who brought to life many of our favorite characters. While I agree that the show has had its ups and downs, I think we have become life long fans of the entire cast.

The series created by Tim Kring debuted on September 25, 2006 featuring stories of ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities, and how these abilities take effect in the characters’ lives.

Zachary Quinto, who played the serial killer Sylar we all loved to hate, took to his website on Saturday, May 15th to say some kind words.

NBC unveils fall schedule

It’s been such a stressful week finding out what television programs are set to return during the fall season and which of our favorites are getting the boot. News as slowly leaked in and now it seems NBC has passed down an official list to the folks over at The Hollywood Reporter.

So without further ado, and sans our beloved Heroes, is the fall season line up. (Also missing is the David Tennant pilot, Rex is Not Your Lawyer. Have they gone mad?)
