Amy Winehouse dating a normal dude

……then again, how normal can he be if he is dating Amy!

The troubled singer emerged in Central London on the arm of British director Reg Traviss on Sunday, May 30th, 2010. Her father Mitch is proudly talking about her daughter’s new beau whom she is rumored to have been seeing for a few weeks now.

Speaking about Reg, Mitch said: “I’m happy she’s got a new boyfriend. I’m happy she’s moving on with her life. He’s a normal guy, very nice.”

So the question is, what does a guy like this see in Amy? While she is a fantastic singer there is no denying all the issues she has had in the last couple of years that would make any “normal” person head for the hills!

She is even looking a lot better and while I hope the twenty four year old has gotten her life sorted, you can’t help but wonder how long this will last.

“Amy really likes Reg,” a source told the Sun newspaper.

“They’ve been seeing each other for a good few weeks now.

“He’s a decent guy with his feet firmly on the ground.

“He’s cultured and talented and they talk and laugh about all sorts.

“And they’re openly affectionate in front of friends and family now too.”

You can’t help but wonder whether the young director is doing it for notoriety. Not many people knew who he was yesterday but today his face is all over the internet.

Only time will tell I guess.
