Though Harry Potter did not take home top honors at the MTV Movie Awards this evening, one of its stars did snag a coveted golden popcorn award. Tom Felton, known as the villainous Draco Malfoy in the series won in the “Best Villian” category beating out Christoph Waltz from Inglourious Basterds, Helena Bonham Carter from Alice in Wonderland, Ken Jeong from The Hangover and Stephen Lang from Avatar.
He also confirmed news that his real life love of two years Jade Olivia would be playing the role of his wife Astoria in the “Deathly Hallows” epilogue.
“The producers actually came to me about six months ago and asked me, and I was like, OK, I’ll ask her. She was slightly reluctant but I pulled her arm and twisted it and then she was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross,” he said.
He joked about how fast his young relationship flew during those few days of shooting!
“We had a kid together, it was all very rush rush. So yeah, we were married for three days. It was very fun,” he joked. “It gave me a chance to see what she would look going to look like in 19 years and, if that’s what she’s going to look like, I’m doing pretty well for myself.”
OMG! OMG! They also premiered the second teaser trailer from the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film.
