John Travolta and his glowing wife Kelly Preston made their arrival with their daughter Ella Preston at Lanseria Airport on Thursday, June 10th, 2010 in Johannesburg, South Africa to support the Australian team.
Mommy-to-be Preston proudly showed off her growing baby bump, the family announced the pregnancy on May 18th via their website. I can’t express how happy I am for this family!
So what is Travolta’s connection with the team from Down Under? It stems back to the previous World Cup in Germany when as an ambassador for team sponsor Qantas, he flew a jumbo jet into Sydney to see Australia qualify against Uruguay for Germany 2006.
He made a promise to the Australian soccer team four years ago that he will be here when they play in the soccer world cup, a promise he kept.
While in South Africa, Travolta will also be assisting in promoting the Nelson Mandela’s Children’s Fund to help raise awareness of their needs.
