Nicolas Cage premieres “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” in New York

It’s a magical night for the stars of Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice! The fantasy film directed by Jay Baruchel stars Nicolas Cage as Master sorcerer Balthazar Blake who recruits a seemingly everyday guy, Dave Stutler (played by Jay Baruchel) in his mission to defend New York City from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath. Mr. Cage and his wife Alice Kim, co-stars Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer, Peyton List, Gregory Woo walked the red carpet and posed with everyone’s favorite rodent, Mickey Mouse.

Also in attendance was Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice opens in theaters on July 14th, 2010.
