One line in a Miami Today news article today has the City wondering if Michael Bay’s third installment of the Tranformers franchise may shoot partially in South Florida!
The story, which discusses the new $54 million in film incentives the state is to release to attract more productions to the Miami-Dade county quotes Jeff Peel, director of the county’s Office of Film and Entertainment.
“I do know Transformers 3, which is the big Michael Bay follow-up,” is coming, Mr. Peel said. “We’ve been scouting with those guys for a couple months.”
Pictures of Megan Fox 2.0 a.k.a Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have already sprung up from the Los Angeles set, could Miami be next?
I would love to see more productions come down here especially all the ones that have “Miami” in their title! So many shows claim to take place here including Miami Medical, CSI: Miami, and even Dexter. Yes, Michael C. Hall, we want to see you murder some of our psycho’s!
I do have to show some love for the USA hit Burn Notice, who not only keeps it true to the Miami flavor but shows the world how bad ass this City can be.
The article states that, “By year’s end, seven television series, one pilot, one Telenovela, seven motion pictures, five documentaries, two visual effects projects, three video games and three digital media projects might get started in Miami-Dade.”
South Florida welcomes you all!
