With the shooting of the film Arthur in full force, veteran actress Helen Mirren joined fellow Brit Russell Brand on the set in New York City, New York on Monday, July 12th, 2010.
In this remake of the 1981 film starring Dudley Moore, Brand takes over the role of a drunken playboy stands to lose a wealthy inheritance when he falls for a woman, his family doesn’t like. Mirren will play a female version of his servant Hobson, originally played by Sir John Gielgud.
Arthur is being directed by Jason Winer and will also co-star Jennifer Garner and Nick Nolte.
