Don’t believe everything you read! (Unless if you read it on here of course!) It has come to our attention that other media outlets have been talkin’ some smack about our boy Gerard Butler and you know we can’t have that.
One of our lovely readers Dianne who like us has major Butlerphilia, had the pleasure of visiting the set of the new movie Machine Gun Preacher on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010. She reported fans had a bit of a wait on their hands since shooting was underway but once Gerry made it out to the crowd he was very sweet and made special time for the children who wanted to meet him.
Dianne, who runs a dedicated fansite for him called Weirdly Obsessive Gerard Butler Fans, carried a bright sign that sure got the hunky stars attention! Even though he was meant to get back to work, he took the time to give her and her daughter a hug and pose for some pictures.
What a doll!
Now if only he would have to come shoot a new movie in Miami!

You are welcome guys! While I agree the hair is a bit funny, even he can rock it! Does anyone else think he was robbed of the “Sexiest Man Alive” title? Yes I love Johnny Depp but its the year of the Butler.
It is always good to see him happy. I agree, people can so very unkind to him. The sad price for fame. Perhaps~ He will continue to do more charity work and settle down. The garden awaits.
I absolutely agree! He’s been robbed year after year. I would have thought last year would have been it considering he released 3 films, but maybe this will be it. In any case WE all know he is. Maybe that’s enough. I don’t want to share with the rest of the world. LOL

Gerard Butler has been robbed of the title too many times of the sexiest man alive.He is tall,where most of the men in Hollywood is short,he has the best hairline in Hollywood,most of the men in Hollywood have v shaped hairlines which means there losing their hair,not Gerard,his face is beautiful,and he has a beautiful body.What more can you want. He is the epitome of male pulchratude.He is tall dark and handsome.What more can we ask for? I like Johnny Depp and he is cute,but he is short. Gerard should have been on the cover.They put Brad Pitt on the cover twice with his little turned up woman’s nose.ugh
The girl Gerard Butler finally settles down with will be the luckiest girl in the world.He is the handsomest man in the universe,he seems to be very kind. What a package he is.I wish I would get that package for Christman.You wouldn’t even have to wrap it. ha ha

I have totally loved this incredible man for almost fourteen years and I am sick of the way people put him down. Gerry is not only the sexiest man in the universe, he has the sweetest, kindest giving heart I have ever heard of in the film industry. Yeah, there have probably been lots of those, but for this gorgeous Hot Scot to be as giving, constantly as our G-Man has and is still, takes a ‘verra’ rare individual. He had a convention, fifth one now, in June and he matched all monies that were made for this shelter that the convention made. GALS has had a convention for Gerry now for the past five years and always raised mony for a charity. Gerry is not only a beautiful man in looks he is a beautiful man in his heart!!! And I totally agree about him not getting any award for at least “Law Abiding Citizen”!!!!! That was an awesome movie made by an awesome man!!!! I put the stupidity of the film industry down to total jealousy!!

We would also like to thank Jeff Griffith who was the fabulous photograher of these photos and allowed us to use his photos, a wonderful generous guy. Frankly I think his photos are superior to many so called professional photos we have seen.
All the folks in Melvindale that lived around the film set were apparently gracious and welcoming to the “visitors” in their neighbourhood.
I think Detroit and area is really looking like Hollywood of the Mid West.

I agree with all. He does not even realize that he inspires others. Amy MacDonald’s song Ordinary Life was written about him. He is a beautiful man inside and out and I only hope that he gets recognition and people stop condemning him.
I am so grateful for this site!!! I have listened to so many detrimental comments regarding this ruggedly handsome and beautiful hearted man for 13 years and every time I want to beat some heads in. This man gives constantly of himself and every so often he finally speaks out for himself. But not often enough. He just keeps giving and giving and he never seems to stop. God made one awesomely incredible man there and I totally thank the Lord for giving me this sweetheart of a gorgeous man to love.
