Today was a big day at Comic-Con. One of the highly anticipated events was the announcment of the complete cast for upcoming superhero flick The Avengers. During the Marvel Panel, Samuel L Jackson, Nick Fury, came out, bringing with him Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans at Capital America, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson and… Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. Robert then proceeded to introduce the rest of the cast, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and the much debated Hulk? Mark Ruffalo!
Talk about a star packed cast! I’m SO excited for this movie. But then, I’m superhero (RDJ) lovin’ kinda girl… And the Renner/Ruffalo confirmations are great news too. Who doesn’t love Mark Ruffalo??
So, for those not well verse in Marvel lore, we’ll list this one out again:

um, i dont like mark ruffalo but only because the only movie i know him from is that awful one with jennifer gardner….but anyway the rest of the cast sounds awesome, especially scarlett johanson as….whoever shes playing. damn, chris evans is the human torch and captain america, awesome!!

Not impressed with Johannson as Black Widow, actually. And I’m not sure about Ruffalo as Hulk. (I’m assuming they couldn’t get Norton, who I loved in the role, on board for some reason?) And I’ve already made my opinion (loudly) heard with SLJ as Fury.
I either love or are at least withholding judgment on the rest of the cast. lol (My only other worry is Hemsworth as Thor.)
