These are some new pictures of Depp and his latest leading lady, Penelope Cruz on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Oahu, Hawaii on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010. The Spanish actress who recently tied the knot with hunky long time beau Javier Bardem, drank and danced during rehearsals.
Johnny returns in the role of Captain Jack Sparrow with Mrs. Bardem playing the role of Angelica, the daughter of Blackbeard.

I appreciate the sentiment and agree that hanging out with Johnny Depp would be incredible. Still, judging from the pictures, it looks more like he is plying Penelope with booze. Pretty subjective, but I imagine she is trying to be a good sport about the whole situation, especially with the crew member (director?) and who know who all esle in close proximity.
Really, if you ask me, ole Johnny boy is acting a bit like a pig. Not too far removed from the antics of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Granted, Ben’s prey haven’t exactly been in the same league as Johnny boy’s, but alchohol, fortune and fame, and warped social skills seems to be a common denominator.
Well, Johnny is no pig, Claire, and if you know anything about him at ALL, you know that he doesn’t operate on that level. You have leapt to a completely off-the-wall conclusion that is about as far from the characters of these two people as you can get. Penelope has recently married the love of her life; Johnny is in a committed relationship with the mother of his two children, and to compare him to Ben Whatsis is just plain dumb.
All of you are soooo dumb, They are just rehearsing some scenes for the movie, duh….

I think people like Claire are the reason tabloids sell so well.
It is obvious from the pictures that Johnny and Penelope are rehearsing a scene involving Jack’s beloved rum.
