Sexy new Alex Skarsgard Photoshoot and Interview!

Let’s be honest.

It’s never a bad day when you’re writing about Alex Skarsgard. I know I’m not the only lady in the house to agree with that sentiment and today (or rather tonight if you’re on local time with myself) I have the deep pleasure of showering you with these lovely images of Alex shot in conjunction with an interview he did with Swedish publication, Laholms Tidning.

In it the True Blood actor discusses how he does not feel as at home in Los Angeles as he does in his home country and is reluctant to purchase any property there.

“I feel a little resistance to doing it,” the actor said, “it becomes somehow more permanent. In Los Angeles you can never just walk anywhere. You have to drive. Therefore, it is wonderful to be in Gothenburg, to be able to walk around, have coffee with friends and just see the town. There is more city life here than in LA.”

The actor has had to make some concession to his current situation, with his role as Sheriff Eric Northman on the outrageously successful HBO show and rents an apartment in the Hollywood Hills. However in tandem with his success on True Blood, Skarsgard’s star in film has been steadily on the rise, with thriller Straw Dogs on the way, plus a new role he discusses in the interview alongside — surprisingly, Rihanna!. “So far I don’t know too much about her,” he said of the singer’s role in the upcoming sci fi film Battleship.

Alexander Skarsgard is currently in Gothenburg filming Lars von Trier’s star-studded film Melancholia alongside his actor father Stellan Skarsgard and Kirsten Dunst.
