In case if you needed another reason to love Pantene, they are repackaging three of their leading global beauty brands with sustainable, renewable packaging made from Brazilian sugarcane!
Supermodel and new mom Gisele Bundchen, who represents the brand in her native Brazil, attended a press conference where she made the announcement during The Pantene Pro-V Promotion Event held in Sao Paulo on Thursday, August 12th, 2010.
Plastic packaging for their top brands including Pantene and Cover Girl will be made with renewable alternatives namely ethanol derived from the sugarcane.
Vice-Chairman of P&G Beauty and Grooming Ed Shirley said in a press release, “We’re leading the [beauty] industry in science-based sustainable innovation and demonstrating our commitment to sustainability.”
Since visiting the headquarters of Proctor and Gable a couple of months ago, I have learned so much about a company who continuously looks for ways to better their products. I can’t sing their praises enough since they revamped their Pro-V formula.
It has literally changed my hair! (sorry I totally sound like a commercial but its so true!)
