Early this morning, just at the stroke of midnight, MTV broadcast an exclusive premiere of the banging new video for Linkin Park’s single The Catalyst. The single is the first off of their upcoming A Thousand Suns album.
If you’re a fan of Linkin Park, then you’re definitely going to be a fan of this video. Directed by band DJ Joseph Lahn, we get to see a side of them that I don’t believe we’ve seen before. In The Catalyst, they hint at the fact that we as humans have already written our own fate through our actions, and those of generations past and future. We see them examine life and death using abstract, dark imagery. But the message itself isn’t nearly as powerful as the method they use to express it!
