Entertainment Weekly is reporting this evening that Jackson Rathbone has joined the cast of the highly anticipated superhero drama, No Ordinary Family.
Since the demise of my beloved Heroes, I’ve put a lot of faith in this upcoming fall series. With stars like Julie Benz and Michael Chiklis already on board how can it not be fantastic. Right?!
The show centers on the Powell family, a typical American family, whose members gain special abilities after their plane crash lands into the Amazon River.
Rathbone, who you may know as Jasper from the Twilight Saga or from the summer movie The Last Airbender, will play “play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker telepathic Daphne. Trent was recently the victim of a home invasion robbery, and I’m guessing Daphne will join forces with her superhero parents to help catch the perp.”
So if you weren’t excited before, be excited now! No Ordinary Family premieres on Tuesday, September 28th, 2010 on ABC.
