Dexter star Lauren Velez grabs some Emmy swag!

Hispanic beauty Lauren Velez made her way through the HBO Luxury Lounge in honor of the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 in Beverly Hills, California.

The Puerto Rican actress known for her role as Lieutenant Maria LaGuerta on the Showtime hit Dexter posed with a burgundy Campania Crossbody Bag from Brahmin‘s Verana Collection, a My Little Princess Recordable Book, a bag full of yummy Schoggi imported Swiss chocolates, the CEO Steel Ceramic, oversized white, TW Steel watch, and a fluffy pair of Dearforms slippers.

I can’t wait to see how Lauren’s character Maria evolves into her new marital commitments. Not only has she tied the knot but it was to her co-worker and number two, Sergeant Angel Batista. (played by David Zayas) There is some crazy chemistry between those two so I have high hopes for lots of sparks and drama this season.

Dexter is up for quite a few Emmy’s tomorrow night. They include “Outstanding Drama Series,” “Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for Michael C. Hall,” “Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series,” “Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series,” “Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series,” “Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media – Fiction,” and “Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series.”

Mr. John Lithgow has already taken home the “Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series” during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards last Saturday for his turn as serial killer, Trinity.
