True Blood star Carrie Preston arrives at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on August 29, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. Carrie worked with designer Makoto Takada, who made her dress, while celebrity stylist Colin Megaro styled her in Erica Courtney Jewels, a Christian Louboutin clutch and stunning pumps by Louboutin as well.
Carrie looked breathtaking on the red carpet in the patterned gown. The strapping detail around the midsection wrapped around to her open back, accenting her sexy body while the length and cut of the dress elongated her petite figure. I personally loved this look and it was refreshing to see a new and different color sequence from what usually appears on the red carpet.
True Blood is nominated for 5 Emmy’s tonight including “Outstanding Drama Series”, “Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series”, “Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series”, “Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For a Series, Miniseries, Movie Or A Special” and “Outstanding Sound Editing For a Series”. Tune in tonight at 8 to catch which awards the cast of True Blood takes home.
