Edie Falco and the cast of Nurse Jackie boogie at pre-Emmy bash!

Probably just as nervous as the cast of Dexter, the fine folks from Nurse Jackie came out to unwind during Showtime’s 62nd Annual Emmy Nominee Reception held at SkyBar at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 in West Hollywood, California.

In attendance were Edie Falco, Paul Schulze, Dominic Fumusa, Merritt Wever, Stephen Wallem, Lenny Jacobson, Anna Deavere, and Arjun Gupta.

Nurse Jackie has quickly evolved into one of the most addicting shows on television. (pun intended!) With so many other medical dramas on tv, the writing staff has worked to make this Showtime hit stand out from the best of them.

Even though the titular character is flawed beyond belief, we look at the good in her and just can’t help but love her. (much like her network cohorts Dexter Morgan from Dexter and Nancy Botwin from Weeds) Honestly, it seems like Jackie, Dexter and Nancy live quasi-parallel lives where they continue to do these bad things but they don’t get caught. And, even though Jackie was busted at the end of season two, she will find a way out of this mess and somehow come out unscathed, I’m sure of it.
