I almost didn’t recognize Michael Sheen without his beard! I swear, I glanced through these photographs thinking, this guy looks just like Sheen if only he had more facial hair!
For those of you who have not had the chance to meet this fantastic man, I want to let you know that in all the years that I have worked in the entertainment industry, there are few people who can hold a candle to Mr. Sheen.

Yeah, now I’m showing off!
Even though this is my blog I try not to chat too much about the celebs I get to meet during many of the fabulous events I am fortunate enough to attend but I feel that the world should know that Michael Sheen is the epitome of a British gentleman. I was able to chat him up a bit during San Diego Comic Con where he was promoting his new film, Tron: Legacy and I will never forget the few moments I was able to spend in his presence.
and now I digress!
Michael Sheen, sans facial hair, attended the Picnic In The Park event for his latest film “Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue” held at La Cienega Park on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 in Beverly Hills, California. Also in attendance were director Bradley Raymond, producer Helen Kalafatic, and actress Raven-Symone.
The star of Frost/Nixon and The Twilight Saga: New Moon voices the character of Dr. Griffiths in this Disney animated film.
The story takes place before Tinker Bell met Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. Tink makes friends with a human girl named Lizzy (Lauren Mote). This friendship has to be kept secret from Lizzy’s stern scientist father (Michael Sheen) a rationalist and lepidopterist who might want to pin Tinkerbell to a card and present her to the Royal Society.
The DVD release of Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue will be available for purchase on September 21st.
