Even though Hugh Laurie did not take home the award for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” during the Primetime Emmy Awards last night for his work as Doctor Gregory House on the Fox hit, House it does not make him a loser, not by a long shot!
He has taken home a plethora of awards throughout the years for his portrayal of the cynical, narcissistic, medical genius and a total of five nominations in the same category since 2005.
The British actor looked stunning on the red carpet in his midnight blue tuxedos featuring a shawl collar from Brunello Cucinelli at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, August 29th, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
Joining him for a picture were Law and Order: SVU stars Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay and also his seat mate, Jack McBrayer from the NBC comedy, 30 Rock.
Plus with all the added drama coming in during season seven of House, you have heard Dr. House and his superior Dean of Medicine Dr. Lisa Cuddy are finally gonna make a go of their relationship right?!
Yep, expect to see Hugh on the nominations again next year!
