British actor and comedian Ricky Gervais took on the battle of the bulge and has won! People loved busting his chops for years over being chubby and he always joked about how even when he would try to exercise the papers would criticize him.
We were able to admire the result of his training in a slimmer, trimmer, healthier version of Mr. Gervais on the 62nd Annual Primtetime Emmy Awards on Sunday and in these new shots of him during his arrival into London Heathrow Airport on Tuesday, August 31st, 2010.
One of the funniest jokes of the night was when the Invention of Lying star insulted the controversial Mel Gibson!
“I’m not going to make fun of him, hes been through a lot,” he said with a smile, adding, “not as much as the Jews, to be fair.”
You gotta love a man who quips about someone that most are afraid to piss off!
