This has got to be one of the prettiest pictures I have ever seen of Natalie Portman. She looks so sweet and natural at while chatting up members of the media at the “Black Swan” Press Conference during the 35th Toronto International Film Festival held at the Hyatt Regency on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 in Toronto, Canada.
She was joined by director Darren Aronofsky, Vincent Cassell, Winona Ryder (in an outfit reminiscent of Charlie Chaplin), and Barbara Hershey.
The film premiered at the Film Festival last night and if the standing ovation was any indication, Black Swan is going to make a killing at the box office. I’m sure this is quite reassuring to Portman who put in increasingly painful hours of ballet training in preparation for the psycho thriller.
“It was about a year of ballet preparation that sort of ramped up as the film got closer. It started out for a couple of hours a day, then five hours a day, then more like eight hours and it was very intense but really fun, too,” The petite actress told Vanity Fair Magazine in Toronto
“Black Swan” will dance into theaters on December 1st, 2010.
