I can’t think of many people who have more good news to discuss with their mother than Javier Bardem. He not only tied the knot with longtime girlfriend and fellow Academy Award winning actress Penelope Cruz but they are also expecting a baby!!
The super private couple confirmed the news on September 14th and reporters managed to sneak in a few questions during a Sunday press conference in Rome for Eat Pray Love.
“It is true,” the actor told the panel of journalists. “I am very happy.”
Bardem begged the press to not ask him anymore questions saying, “Don’t make me say anything else.” Gosh, this poor guy just wants some privacy but the media pressed on asking if the couple had come up with any names for the child.
“No, not yet.”
Penelope is four and a half months along and we are sure abuelita Pilar is quite excited about the new baby.
