In his first ever role in an animated film, Ryan Kwanten attended the premiere of his new movie The World Premiere of Warner Bros. “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Sunday, September 19th, 2010 in Hollywood, California. Joining the “True Blood” star were executive producer Deborah Snyder, Director Zack Snyder, and co-stars David Wenham, Jim Sturgess, Sam Neill and Anthony LaPaglia.
The computer-animated family film is based on the book series Guardians of Ga’Hoole by Kathryn Lasky Soren. It’s about a young barn owl who is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s, an orphanage where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s. The film is based on the first three books in the series.
“Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” flies into theaters on September 24th, 2010.
