Shia LaBeouf premieres “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” in New York City

If you have yet to watch the 1987 film “Wall Street” you have four days left! The highly anticipated sequel entitled, “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” has kicked off its world premiere this evening.

Shia LaBeouf was joined by his co-star and girlfriend Carey Mulligan, Josh Brolin, Susan Sarandon, Michael Douglas, Frank Langella, and Eli Wallach walked down the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre located in New York City, New York on Monday, September 20th, 2010.

LaBeouf, Mulligan, Brolin and Director Oliver Stone started their day by ringing the opening bell at the NASDAQ MarketSite.

The dramatic film takes place as the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster. A young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gordon Gekko on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader’s mentor.

“Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” opens in theaters on Friday, September 24th, 2010.
