After four months of waiting, and wondering if Clark Kent defied the odds of death once again, The Season 10 premiere of Smallville is only one day away, premiering on September 24, 2010!
Smallville has easily become one of the biggest success stories on the CW network. The story of a young Clark Kent and his journey towards becoming Superman is set to enter its tenth and final season this fall, show of hands for those who’s excited? Be prepared to have a nerdgasm, returning cast members are bound to return, John Schneider, Alan Ritchson, Laura vandervoot; as well as, some new but familiar faces.
Entertainment Weekly reports that “Desperate Housewives” actress Teri Hatcher is appearing on the final season of “Smallville” as Ella Lane, the mother of Lois Lane. Does that name sound familiar? — It should, once upon a time, Hatcher herself personified the role of Superman’s true love on ABC’s “The New Adventures of Lois and Clark.” Hatcher will pay tribute to her former role as Lois Lane with a special guest appearance in the eighth episode of the season, titled “Abandoned.” In the episode, Lois discovers a collection of old video tapes featuring her deceased mother, played none other than Teri Hatcher.
Being the final season fans are wondering if Tom Welling will completely embrace his destiny and finally dawn the suit Superman is truly known for before the season ends. Executive Producer Kelly Souders teases, “I have a sneaking suspicion you’re not alone!” With so much to look forward to this season, any tibit would be good enough for me.
