Chris Noth confirms “death” of Sex and the City movies

Yes I am aware at how many of you will be cheering at this news, remember that there are those of us who love the franchise and will be quite sad about its demise. I will agree with many of you that it didn’t have the same magic as the first one, but anything with Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte is a fun ride.

Chris Noth, famous for his role as Mr. Big, spoke bluntly to New York Magazine about the future of “Sex and the City.”

“It’s over. The franchise is dead. The press killed it. Your magazine f**king killed it. New York Magazine. It’s like all the critics got together and said, ‘This franchise must die.’

“They all had the exact same review. It’s like they didn’t see the movie.”

I think the biggest problem with the second film was that most of it took place outside of New York. Also, with all that went down between Big and Carrie throughout the series did we really need Carrie to smooch Aiden? Don’t get me wrong, it was so fantastic to see him again but I wish the plot had been something else.

“Sex and the City” fans, are you happy there will be no more movies?
