Photos: “Gossip Girl” – “Goodbye, Columbia”

You know you love me… here is your (beware!) spoilery photo fix for Gossip Girl’s “Goodbye Columbia” episode, that will air on the CW on Oct.11.

Serena (Blake Lively) has her hands full… but not with the usual array of hot knights in shining armors. This time, just for a change, trouble knocks on the pretty Van der Woodsen door. And who casts a bad spell on her, if not ours truly, Gossip Girl?

An anonymous blast sent to GG forces Serena to deal with a plate full of vicious rumors. What’s better than that for breakfast? Duh, Nate (Chace Crawford) of course. He doesn’t look like he wants to be Serena’s breakfast (again, may we say? That “let’s have alternate 9 1/2 weeks breakfast” scene is hard to forget) in these photos, does he? Bet Juliet (Katie Cassidy, pictured with Chace Crawford) has a say in that.

Meantime, Blair (Leighton Meester) is busy trying to get into the good graces of a powerful businesswoman, Martha (guest star Marilyne Barrett) who is guest-lecturing at Columbia. Nothing stops Queen B when she wants an assistant position with an alpha-female does it? Seems like minions even have pies to the rescue. Thing is, there’s nothing quite a prestigious position, B. And who may it be that mysteriously sabotages B’s plan? Our guess is as good as anyone’s, but we smell a Bass here. Vanessa (Jessica Szhor) pays Columbia a visit, and crosses paths with Juliet.

That can’t be good, or can it?

We can’t say, as Dan (Penn Badgley) looks more preoccupied with whatever is behind that desk than with anything else. And much as we don’t see them in photos, Ed Westwick, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star in the episode.

You know you love them?! Then tune in on the CW Television Network on Oct.11 at 9 p.m.!

  1. Great episode. I loved that scene where Blair tries to bribe Ms. Chamberlin with the pie – hilarious (you can watch it at http://vimeo.com/15786495).
