After surprising fans by quietly tying the knot on Saturday, Emily Deschanel and her new husband David Hornsby hosted a celebratory family brunch earlier today. The happy couple welcomed family and friends at the home of Deschanel’s parents in Los Angeles, California.
Emily’s younger sister Zooey and her husband Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab for Cutie) were seen congratulating the newlyweds and even breaking out into a random dance at one point!
So far the only details released about the wedding is that the bride wore a pair of matching diamond and platinum scroll hair pins and drop earrings by Neil Lane during the ceremony held in Pacific Palisades, California.

she did no souch thing neither did her sister. when Emily gets pregnant, their baby will have blue or green eyes, because both the parents have (it genectic) and there is a chance of having blonde or light brown hair, so, it will be a beautiful baby, i had never seen a blonde blue/green eyed baby ugly, they are always beautiful. she is beautiful in every way and he looks very good to, very handsome and has a nice smile. she choose him and if they love each other no one can say anything about it or mess with their happiness. como se diz onde eu vivo “entre marido e mulher não se mete a colher”!
i really like her, she is my favourite actress, and has the perfect family. good relationship with her parents, her sister, brother in law, and now has a husband too and is starting her own family. she and her family should be a role model.
i am only sad because there are no wedding photos for us to watch. i would love to see her dress and her happiness in the most important day of her life, i’m sure she looked stunning!!!

if she is pregnant in real life, that means that this is the season where brennan is, most likely, going to be pregnant too. she is the female lead, it’s going to be impossible to hide after some time. but, how are they going to manage brennan’ story, if this is true? who will be the father (probably booth, but he is commited with another woman)? is she going to use booth’s frozen sperm to have a baby for herslef after realising that she doesn’t have booth and her best friend got pregnant before she did, and she is jealous? i’m so happy that she got married, especially after i red an interview she gave, earlier this year, where she said “Sometimes it does frustrate me that a lot of people assume you will get married and raise a family. You don’t have to. But who knows? I may very well do both.”. that said, she is now starting her own family. Best wishes to both of them.

i so agree with “patiko” and “emma”. no one has the right to give hints or try to change someone’s personal life. when actors are not on camera they have their lives, with whom they want, and they can make whatever decision they want, because that doesn’t concerne anybody’s life, only their own. both of them deserve the best for their lives whether or not their expecting a baby (she didn’t looked pregnant 2 weeks ago when she attended FOX eco-casino party).

I was watching Bones tonight and Emily is walking like she is pregnant and they only show her with a coat or overalls on. If she is pregnant it seems like they are going to try to hide it. Hopefully they will do a good job of hiding it. I hope she is pregnant.
in july or august when that episode was shot she wasn’t pregnant. she wasn’t pregnant in the Emmys (august 29), Stand Up 2 Cancer (september 10), or Fox Fall Eco-Casino party (september 13). if she is pregnant is very recent. no one can see it yet. soooooooo, stop saying that she is pregnant, if she is she will tell whenever she wants. it’s her private life. no one has nothing to do with it.

Sofia, yes.I have seen the photo’s you mentioned. My friends and I are flabbergasted that this is the guy she winds up marrying. Not only is he unattractive, but he always looks miserable. In the wedding photo even Emily doesn’t look that happy. And this is wedded bliss? She ALWAYS looks so much happier when she takes photo’s with the real love of her life DAVID BOREANAZ. I know DB’s married, but I am just saying that if DB was available, this Hornsby guy would have never even been a blip on the radar screen. Emily is getting older and because her sister and a lot of her fiends are married, she panicked and SETTLED for this guy.

@Sofia, You are probably right. I have had a few couple of year relationships and always thought they were going somewhere until they all fizzled out. A lot of my friends were getting married and although I was truly happy for them, I must admit I was envious. I continued to date but none of these men had anything that would indicate they were the one. I wasn’t going to just settle for just anybody. IMO I think that is what ED did. I see no other reason on why she picked this guy of all guys. I met my husband when I was 29 yrs old and have been HAPPILY married for 12 years.

I love Emily Deschanel, but I find her walking scenes very ungainly some. She is very hobbly and not graceful walking, like a transvestite in hi heels, her balance is wrong. But this is when she is wearing flats!!! I’m 5’10″ and have always made sure to have a ladylike walk, tall girls just have to, so they don’t look like a farmer, or gangly giraffe. Why would someone trained in Drama etc not have learned this? What’s the story?
At first I thought she wasn’t good looking at all as her face is soooo wide and short, now I think she has an unusual good look. Love the chemistry between her and Booth.
