Julie Benz dazzles at the Pink party!

What better night to see a smiling Julie Benz than on the day her show “Dexter” returns.

The thirty eight year old, Pennsylvania native made a dazzling arrival at the 6th Annual Pink Party held at Drai’s Hollywood on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 in Hollywood, California. Her stylist Joey Tierney dressed Benz in another jaw dropping ensemble which included a Paul + Joe PARIS dress, a Casadei red velvet stilettos, a Judith Leiber clutch, and the perfect amount of dazzling diamonds from Neil Lane jewelers.

After what seemed to be an eternal hiatus, the Showtime hit begins to tackle the issues left after the murder of her character Rita during the season finale. Dexter is realizing his mistakes and how he could have easily prevented her demise.

**SPOILER ALERT**
My favorite thing about the episode is that we get to see how Dexter and Rita first met. With murder on his mind, he still managed to make this connection with her that eventually led to marriage and a son.

By the time the episode wraps, we see the titular character begin to express feelings about the loss and we see the return of his father Harry. This all leads to Dexter’s emotional breakdown as the pain finally begins to flow out of him.

He made mistakes and now he is paying the ultimate price.

It’s going to be one hell of a season.
