Preview: Dexter “Bandit” Episode 2

Congrats to the folks at Showtime, Dexter’s Season 5 opener carved out an audience of 2.34 million total viewers on Sunday night, making it Showtime’s most watched season premiere in 15 years!! The episode’s initial 9 pm airing drew 1.77 million viewers, while an 11 o’clock encore added another 575K.

Here is what you can expect in the 2nd episode of Season five entitled, “Bandit.” The episode guest stars Shawn Hatosy who Hall also worked with on an episode of “Six Feet Under.”

In his new role as single father, an anxious Dexter (Michael C. Hall) tries to get his family’s routine back on track, to begin the process of moving on from Rita’s death. Dexter attempts to focus all his attention on the kids while curbing his dark urges.

But when evidence of foul play falls into his lap, Dexter makes a horrific discovery, setting Dexter on the trail of his next victim. Debra (Jennifer Carpenter), trying to be the good sister, shares her apartment with Dexter and the kids only to find there’s no room for her.

She unhappily finds herself on Quinn’s doorstep. Miami Metro has their work cut out when a grisly scene is found in a Venezuelan neighborhood.
