Who knew that when you combine salsa beats and lyrics by British rapper Dizee Rascal you would get a masterpiece such as Shakira‘s latest single release, “Loca?” Honestly, I could have guessed.
For the video, Shaki took to the streets of Barcelona, with Dizzee and a handheld camera, in an attempt to capture the true interpretation of the song, Shakira opted to go away from the traditional big production music video to portray a spirited, fun-filled day being ‘loca’ in the streets with the people of Barcelona.
Loca indeed!! The Colombian beauty seems to have forgotten to sort out the proper permits that would have allowed her to splash about in that Spanish fountain with permission. Authorities have threaten to fine her for the adventure, but in the end, the video looks kick azz!!
Shakira’s upcoming bilingual studio album “Sale El Sol” is due to hit stores on October 19th.
