Fresh off her wildly successful US tour, Marina Daimandis of Marina & the Diamonds worked her colorful socks on the red carpet at the BT Digital Music Awards in London on September 30th, 2010. She is nominated for BREAKTHROUGH ARTISTS OF THE YEAR along with Tinie Tempah, The Temper Trap, Professor Green, deadmau5 and The XX. The votes are being counted now so cross your fingers for our diamond!
Marina and her diamonds sold out the El Rey Theater in Hollywood on September 17th for the last stop of the Family Jewels Tour and yours truly was there actin a fool. She rocked the house with her hits “I Am Not a Robot” and my personal favorite, “Shampain” as well as a cover of 3Oh3!’s “Starrstrukk”. She also hinted that she was making the move to the United States permanent as soon as the European leg of her tour is over.
