One of the best things to come out of season four of True Blood was wacky vampire Franklin Mott played by a brilliant actor named James Frain. I fell in love with Frain after watching him in the 2000 romantic comedy entitled, “Where the Heart Is” which co-starred a young Natalie Portman.
Since then I have enjoyed watching this versatile actor in many roles including “The Tudors,” “The Count of Monte Cristo,” “24,” “Californication,” and honestly the list goes on and on.
He was photographed while out and about in Los Angeles, California. He hit up two parties, the first one was the GUESS and Coty Beauty Celebrate the Worldwide Launch of GUESS Seductive held at The Colony and later he was joined by his lovely wife Marta Cunningham at the “ARCADE Boutique Presents The Autumn Party” held at The London Hotel.
Even though we lost him as the fabulous Franklin we will continue to see Frain on tv and at the theater. He will join Michael Sheen, Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges in Tron: Legacy when the film hits theaters on December 17th. Next spring you will find him in the Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, and Christoph Waltz film, Water for Elephants.
