Michael J Fox reunites with “Back to the Future” cast for anniversary

One of my fondest memories from my childhood is heading out to the theaters to watch the “Back to the Future” films. It brings me huge joy to see the cast reunited to celebrate the “Back To The Future” 25th anniversary Trilogy Blu-Ray release celebration held at Gustavino’s on Monday, October 25th, 2010 in New York City.

Has it really been twenty five years already? Yep, it’s official….I’m old.

While Michael J Fox and Christopher reunited recently for the Scream Awards, the event held last night brought together more familiar faces including Lea Thompson who played the role of Lorraine, Marty McFly’s (Fox) mom and (almost) love interest for a little bit in part two, Mary Steenburgen who played Clara Clayton, a teacher who would steal Doc’s heart, Donald Fullilove who starred as Mayor Goldie Wilson, director Robert Zemekis, writer Bob Gale, and even Huey Lewis who gave us the unforgettable theme song, “Power of Love”.

I’m sad Crispin Glover (who will always be Creepy, Thing Man to me) was not in attendance.

Michael J Fox spoke to MTV about the most asked question by fans about the series.

“The thing that people ask me about more than anything else is the hoverboard,” Fox said, referring to a levitating toy he rides in “BTTF II.” “People want to know where they can get a hoverboard. I don’t know. I wish I had a hoverboard because I was hanging from cranes and swung through the courtyard, dangling like a puppet and a hoverboard stapled to my feet.”
