TRAILER: Nicole Kidman stars in “Rabbit Hole”

I hope Nicole Kidman is making some extra space on her mantle at home. Come award season, I think she will be adding more to her collection.

The multiple award winner co-stars with Aaron Eckhart in the dramatic directed by John Cameron Mitchell entitled, “Rabbit Hole.”

Based on a play by David Lindsay-Abaire, this sad tale tells [Read more...]

Willow Smith whips her fab hair back and forth!

whip my hair video still

I think it’s fair to say that if you aren’t privy to the fact that a new video debuted recently featuring the spawn of Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith, then you probably haven’t heard of Justin Bieber, either. Seriously, since the release of this video, 9 year old Willow Smith is enjoying Bieber-esque type stardom! I wrote an article last month about the release of 9 year old Willow’s new song “Whip My Hair”.

I knew the song was a hit the moment I heard it; but I could not [Read more...]

It was a grand night in London as the stars of the highly anticipated film, “The King’s Speech” made their arrival. REVIEW: The Mentalist – ‘The Red Ponies’

The CBI team

Well, I enjoyed our equestrian-related episode last night! It had a light-hearted feel to it that was much appreciated after the heavy (yet brilliant) start the season has had. It begins with the CBI guys, including Patrick Jane along with Agents Rigsby and Cho, working the night shift in the office. Agent Rigsby (Owain Yeoman) is busying himself with an attempt to get a playing card to land in the trash can. This look of utter annoyance on Cho’s (Tim Kang) face as Risgby finally “scored” just made me laugh. Cho couldn’t hide his annoyance and audibly expressed, [Read more...]

We know we are still in October but, the folks at Y-100 are already gearing up for the biggest winter music event. As a Y-VIP, I just received an email with the line up which includes some pretty amazing names.

Most notably is of course [Read more...]

Katie is back in Paranormal Activity 2

Horror movies are my favorite genre. More specifically I love horror movies about hauntings. I live for them, and when a good one comes along I scream from the rooftops to let everyone know about it.

Unless you’ve been holed up in your closet taking Ambiens with white zinfandel for the past year then you are aware of a little movie called Paranormal Activity. I saw it at a midnight show in [Read more...]

Review: Plan B ‘The Vampire Diaries’

Plan B was the perfect combination of ingredients to make for one seriously kickin’ episode of The Vampire Diaries. We got scheming, we got brooding, we got love makin’ and love breakin’.

We also saw the return of a certain Salvatore brother’s meaner side in one wince-worthy scene with a certain Lockwood.

Oh right, that’s something else we got, too.

A little death.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a little death and destruction in a TV show, especially one with a supernatural aura, it’s what keeps things interesting, keeps you coming back for another bite (pun completely intended) but I couldn’t help but truly feel for Mason Lockwood tonight and not only because he literally had his heart torn out but simply for the fact that he was a man being played and, I suspect, knew it, too.
