Jonathan Rhys Meyers gets romantic in “Belle du Seigneur”

It is the moment Jonathan Rhys Meyers fans have been waiting for, the first images to emerge of the hunk shooting scenes from his new movie, “Belle du Seigneur.” He was on location with his extremely lucky co-star Natalia Vodianova on Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 in Camogli, Italy.

These are some of the most breathtaking images of Jonathan that I have seen in ages! I guess seeing him as a chunky, old King during the final season of The Tudors had made me forget what a dashing, young man he truly is.

The romantic/drama is an English language adaptation of Albert Cohen’s epic French tale of a tortured love affair between a high-ranking Jewish official and the protestant wife of one of his employees.

Thank you to our reader Grace for the heads up!

  6. Nice let’s promote individuals who call airport workers the n word. After all JRM should be excused because he is goodlooking has blue eyes oh and he is an actor. And that is the standard we have lowered ourselves to. This is so sad…everyone is kidding themselves that it is so sophiscated and chic to forget what he did …like Roman Polanski and what he did…yes let’s ignore it and pretend it didn’t happen only the sophiscated and elite creative types understand the complexity of the artistic soul . History is riddled with the ignorance of the masses who ignored this type of behavior…

The book is very “stream of consciousness.” There is a lot of inner monologue going on, and each character is explored so completely that you feel as if you have known them all your life. I am getting so attached to each character that I will probably have to take bereavement day when I finally finish it! Seeing JRM and Ms. V in costume is great, because the pictures in my head are more vivid while I am reading. Oh My God he is Gorgeous!

  8. Are you reading the englidh or french version. We had to read it for French IV as part of the early french literature.

I am reading the book in English. Unfortunately, I don’t know French. I hope nothing has been sacrificed in translation. I’ll tell you this much, in the book Ariane spends a lot of time talking to herself in the bathtub! Ha Ha! She is a bit goofy. Everyone go out and buy this book!
