DEXTER PREVIEW: Teenage Wasteland

Is anyone out there more excited to see “Dexter” back to its old formula? Episode eight entitled, “Take It” aired last Sunday and you should have seen me cheering.

The writing on the show is amazing and I completely understand why they had to have a “different” type of season. How do you pick up after Rita’s murder and just go on with life as it had never happened. It doesn’t happen in real life and it is not happening in Dexterland.

Seeing as we are getting back to the old scheme of things, it is with much enjoyment that I am sharing this new set of pictures and special video preview of episode nine entitled, “Teenage Wasteland.”

Our boy Dexter (Michael C Hall) is growing “closer” to Jordan Chase (guest star Jonny Lee Miller) now that he has been identified as one of Lumen’s (guest star Julia Stiles) aggressors. In this clip, not only do we get a glimpse of Hall and Miller topless (sorry this site IS called Accidental Sexiness!) but we see the boys have gone to get a workout together.

With every new meeting, Dexter realizes that Jordan is just as fractured and mysterious as he is, setting the stage for a monumental clash between two ingenious and efficient killing machines.

What will happen during the final showdown? Stay tuned…..

We are also going to have a special post done by a friend of mine who is an actual detective! She will discuss the similarities between real life PD and the one created on television for Dexter audiences. Most importantly, she will share her opinion on what went down at the end of the last episode between LaGuerta (Lauren Velez), Deb (Jennifer Carpenter), and newby Cira Manzon (played by April Hernandez Castillo).
