Praise the California Gods for the waves and the Pacific Ocean… because this lets us see Trevor Donovan (excuse me while I pick up my jaw) and Tristan Wilds (definitely not hard on the eyes either) filming at the beach and surfing all the while!

Donovan – whose character Teddy Montgomery on 90210 started questioning his sexuality this season and recently started turning over a new leaf – joked about some of these photos on his Twitter account. Not only the guy is gorgeous, he’s also smart and funny. Yeah, I said it. Mother nature sometimes is very generous. Ahem, where were we?

Oh right, Donovan tweets a lot. The 32-year-old actor tweeted (among other funny comments on a couple of these photos that you can read on his Twitter) that after hitting the waves he was officially a member of the polar bears club. Haha! Say what? It’s not all that pleasant to shoot in the ocean at this time of the year, even in LA! Tristan Wilds looks much more comfortable in the photos, but maybe his character Dixon (who’s got none of Teddy’s dilemmas, luckily for him) wasn’t so caught up in the sport as Teddy? Who’s to say Teddy wasn’t trying to impress someone new in this scene? Casting call is out, in fact, for a new love interest for Teddy, who will be a very athletic, openly gay type. And since Michael Ausiello broke the news, we take his word for it!

Wilds and Donovan filmed till sunset, so we’re probably going to see a very tight competition (they’re wearing West Beverly High uniforms, so it’s fair to assume there’s a surfing contest), maybe followed by some romantic sunset scene at the Beach Club? My question now is… why wasn’t Matt Lanter filming there as well? Yeah, ’cause three hotties are better than two. I’m greedy like that. Now seriously, Lanter’s character, Liam, is part of the team and supposedly a good surfer.

May he be busy finally stealing Annie (played by the lovely Shenae Grimes) from the paws of his not-nearly-as-nice-as-he-looks brother? One can hope things will spice up there! Tune in to 90210 on Mondays at 8 p.m. on the CW Television Network to find out!
