On the heels of the announcement that she was splitting from her longtime partner Darren Aronofsky, Rachel Weisz has returned to work on her new film. The Deep Blue Sea is based on the 1952 play by Terence Rattigan and is about Hester Collyer, the wife of a British Judge (played by Simon Russell Beale) who is caught in a self-destructive love affair with an Royal Air Force pilot.
Seen in the photographs with Weisz is her co-star Tom Hiddleston which were taken on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010. Hiddleston is set to play the role of the alcoholic pilot who showed Hester passion beyond her wildest dreams.
The Deep Blue Sea is set to hit theaters in 2012.
